The final years of great vans has came to its end.
This Vario represents the final edition model from its famous reign over the commercial vehicle marketplace.
In 2013 of course Mercedes discontinued the manufacture of these brilliant vans and many since have been carefully keeping ownerships of theirs knowing they wouldn’t be able to replace their vehicle with anything superior, again!
Thus contributing to incredibly low number of these vans available on the market today.
With just four remaining (as we write this). You could claim your place on one of these incredible examples
- Each vehicle has came directly from the National Grid where they have served as access platforms from new. Receiving regular use, maintenance and care.
- Contributing into some of the best examples left available.
- The chassis and usual areas of concern that these vehicles suffer from sitting around – simply does not exist on these “well oiled machines.”
What we have on offer is the following.
- Axle configuration 4×2, rear twin wheel configuration for extra payload and stability.
Side note – we may offer the option for a 4×4 conversion, however due to scarcity please contact the office for a price.
- This is an incredible rare arrangement with a wheelbase of just 3160mm , the shortest available configuration in a high capacity truck.
- Excellent turning circle and with an overall length of just of 5m its shorter than most MWB panel vans so parks easily.
- Brilliant engine 4250cc turbo diesel, same engine for almost 30 years and found in modern Mercedes Atego trucks today. I hate to use the phrase “Million Mile Engine”, however it’s simpler this way.
- Side loading door placed optimally on the off side (driver side), ideal for trips to Europe whilst also benefiting from owning a RHD vehicle!!
Following our careful preparations procedures your van will receive…

- Full Service, including oil change for all (Engine, Gearbox, Differential)
- Minor repairs and super hardwiring Raptor paintwork finish
- CNC prepared and cut 18mm Military graded Marine Plywood.
- Roof mounted Skylight
- Fresh wax oil and underseal.
- Replacement tachograph unit – since usually not required for private use.
- Base Van Comprehensive Warranty Agreement.

Once the deposit is received the vehicle is removed from sale and we will begin preparing the vehicle for you to receive with 21 days. We will deliver the vehicle without cost up-to 150 miles away.
